With another unpromising Mahesh Babu movie is on the horizon, one wonders what's wrong with this handsome guy? How many lousy movies he is going to offer us? As his latest film, BOBBY sank at the box office, people began speaking about his inability to choose stories. Being son of Superstar Krishna Mahesh Babu has huge fan following despite duds he has been delivering since the beginning of his career.

He may be just six films old but his colleagues like Uday Kiran, NTR Jr have higher success rate than Mahesh despite they entered late into the field. Only Krishna Vamsy's Murari is a genuine hit in his career. "The problem with Mahesh is that he has attitude problem. He himself thinks a super star. And that feeling ruined him," said Srinivasulu, a film analyst.

 

He has charms, cute face, and eyes that express more and yet, his scripts fail him. When Bobby was under the production, Mahesh had sung paeans about debutant director Shoban. He praised Shoban's directorial abilities. When the film released, he minced his words, as he saw there are so many mistakes in the film and the movie lacks 'clear cut direction'. 

A day after the film released, he told some of the reporters that he was very disappointed the way Shoban handled. These accusations are not new. He had accused earlier all the directors who had worked with him except about Krishna Vamsy. It only shows that he lacks selection of stories.

Having learnt lessons from the past, now, he is working with the most sought after director in Tollywood, Teja. He is playing the lead role in Teja's NIJAM. Rasi and Rakshita will accompany him in this film. 

He has pinned hopes on Gunashekar's OKKADU too. But it would be wise on part of Mahesh if he interacts with everyone freely and stop thinking that he is a superstar. After all, filmmaking is a team effort. Mahesh, are you listening?
