With the disastrous result of NAANI, Mahesh's fans have now pinned hopes on his next venture ARJUN. This much-hyped project is nearing completion at a rapid rate. Except few songs and scenes the film's shooting is almost complete. The talkie part will be completed by this month end.

Producer G. Rameshbabu is planning to release the film on August 9th which also happens to be Mahesh's birthday. The blockbuster OKKADU team is working for this project. The film's unit has just returned to Hyderabad from Russia where two songs were canned in picturesque locales. Director Gunashekar is trying hard to recreate the OKKADU magic. 

ARJUN is an action based love story at the backdrop of Madhurai Meenakshi Temple in Tamilnadu. Shriya plays the female lead, while Keerthi Reddy plays Mahesh's sister. Veteran art director Tota Tharani's Meenakshi Temple set for this film at the cost of Rs 3 crores has already become talk of the industry. Audio is likely to hit the market in the first week of July.
