Zee TV to launch 'L'il Champs'

ShaanAfter the mega success of "Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005" and "Ek Main Aur Ek Tu", Zee TV has announced a completely new series called "L'il Champs". The show that goes live Thursday will provide a platform to 22 participants in the age group of seven to 14 years to showcase their talents in singing.

Gajendra Singh, creative director of "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa", said: "Music is an integral part of the Indian culture and talent should be nurtured from an early age. This is what 'L'il Champs' hopes to do by identifying youngsters with talent.

"'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' has always been a dais for the best talent in the country, and 'L'il' Champs' will too bring out the best in youngsters from across the country."

The new series also marks the return of popular anchor Shaan after a brief hiatus.
