Story in brief...
Saat Phere is a story of a girl's struggles against the stigmas forced upon her by society and her quest for her unique identity. Although India has progressed in various fields of technology, science & education, discrimination against women remains the root cause of regression in many societies in India leading to degradation of women.
One such story is that of Saloni, a dark complexioned 24-year-old girl. Saloni's talent is overshadowed by her complexion. Faced with such a situation, Saloni is determined to not let society's will be imposed upon her and ruin her life and has the will, spirit and the courage to embark upon the journey to search for her own unique identity. Yehi hai Saloni ka Safar.

Saloni tells the court that she also wasn't aware about Chandni's death and even her existence. Again the public prosecutor accuses the family of destroying evidences. Brijesh gets furious and says that this is untrue as they had informed the police about Chandni's death. It was a accident and not a murder. They also stress on the point that Nahar is accepting this because he is not in the right frame of mind. Bhabo also tells this in the court.
Tara tells the court about Chandni's death. She ultimately tells everyone how Chandni died. That day in the picnic spot Chandni fought with Tara, for touching Nahar. At that time Tara was pregnant. Somehow Chandni escalated the matter and the fight took unexpected turn. Chandni attacked Tara. Tara tried to push Chandni. Nahar tried to catch her, but Chandni could not balance herself and fell from the cliff and died. Chandni's attack on Tara resulted in miscarriage and also became a reason that Tara could never conceive again. Tara breaks down in the court.
Saloni is shocked and pained to hear all this. Kaaki gave her a different story. She searches for Kaaki in the court. But Kaaki is not available. Saloni finds Kaaki is her car ready to go home. She stops her. Now Saloni wants Kaaki to answer, why did she tell her a false story?
