Still from Hum Aapke Dil Main Rehte Hain Satish Kaushik's directs this love story with a truly different subject. Anil Kapoor a foreign returned businessman does not believe in the institution of marriage. When forced to marry by his father he marries his secretary Kajol under a six-month contract wherein after six months he can chose to continue the marriage or get separated. He leaves his wife after six months and soon realizes that he loves her. How he tries to win back Kajol forms the rest of the story. Brilliant performance by Kajol makes this movie a must see.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's superbly crafted film was the biggest hit of 1999. Salman plays an NRI who falls in love with Aishwarya during his visit to India. But the girl's family doesn't approve of the wedding, and Aishwarya is married off to Ajay Devgan. When Ajay pictures the reality, he sets out in pursuit of Salman. The visual and emotional canvas of the film is amazingly gigantic. Ismail Darbar's hit songs like Chand chhupa, Nimbuda, Dholi taro, Aankhon ki gustaakhiyaan and many more make the film a treat to watch.


Ishq

In order to prevent their children from marrying poor spouses, wealthy Ranjit Rai (Sadashiv Amrapurkar), and his close, equally wealthy, friend, Harbanslal (Dalip Tahil) deceive them and get them to sign a marriage certificate, which states that Ranjit's son, Ajay (Ajay Devgan) has married, Madhu (Juhi Chawla), the daughter of Harbanslal. But fate has other plans, as both Ajay and Madhu fall in love with Kajal (Kajol) and Raja (Aamir Khan), who are poor. Ranjit and Harbans concoct several schemes but are unable to separate the lovers, and then when they actually give in to the lovers' demands.

Both, Raj and Priya, are in love with Tarzan and love traveling in it. They have a few adventures on the way, which make the film a little interesting.
