AIADMK candidate Arunmozhithevannai, who is contesting from Tindivanam constituency in the forthcoming Parliamentary elections, has got support from Rajini's fans. They have decided to back him and work towards the defeat of the PMK.

Though Rajinikanth dislikes Jayalalithaa and her party, his fans hate the PMK and its leader even more. For PMK leader has been very vocal of Rajini's films. Rajini Fans Association had passed many resolutions at the emergency meeting convened at Villupuram recently. The meeting was presided over by the district chairman of the association Rajini Ibrahim. 

One of the many resolutions urged the fans to defeat the PMK in all the six constituencies it is contesting from and go door-to-door to canvass for the AIADMK candidate. One resolution backed Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's efforts to interlink all rivers in the country. 

Though Rajinkanth is maintaining complete silence this elections, there is talk about that he is not so pleased with DMK. It is also said that he wants BJP to regain the power at the center.
