Kamal Hasan has turned 49 on Friday (Nov 7, 2003). On the occasion of his birthday Kamal spent with his fans at his office in Chennai. He was in lighter mood all through the day and spoke with the media few moments. Speaking about the controversy over his latest film, he said that the name SANDIYAR was well established already in the minds of the audiences and it doesn't matter what the new title would be. 

In a typical his humor style, he replied, ''I don't even mind naming it even Pulli Raja". Pulli Raja is the latest AIDS campaign that is going on in Tamilnadu and Andhrapradesh. Replying to another question he said that the controversy over the title is thing of the past. The film is almost finished and will be ready for release at the time of Pongal, he said. 

 

New projects

Kamal Hasan would be doing another comedy after this film. Yes, I am going to act in a film to be directed by Singitham Srinivasa Rao, he told the media. Titled KRISHNALEELA, it will have the dialogues by Kamal's favourite writer 'Crazy' Mohan.
