The latest tussle between PMK and hero Vijayakanth has become hot topic in Tamilnadu. For the last few days PMK party men have been clashing with Vijaykanth's fans. PMK men allege that Vijayakath criticized PMK's chief Dr Ramadoss recently at a public meeting. Since then the two factions have been at loggerheads. The fans of Vijaykanth met in Salem on Sunday(June 20) and decided to protect their hero from the wrath of Dr Ramdoss.
They have also decided to oversee the release of Vijaykanth's latest film, GAJENDRA. It will hit the screens on July 02, 2004.
They have now sworn to protect and safeguard theatres screening the film. PMK leader Ramdoss made Rajinikant's life miserable recently. Rajinikant vowed to the defeat of PMK during the last elections but failed miserably. Now, PMK, with newfound success, is going strong. It vows to stop the screening of GAJENDRA.
Distributors of the film fear that they may have to incur the losses if PMK decides to stop, as they are potential trouble makers. The PMK men had even ran away with the prints of Rajinikant's BABA and created hurdles at several theatres. Will GAJENDRA release smoothly?
