VAYASU PASANGA, Titillation all the while!
Film: VAYASU PASANGA Cast: Vindhya, Anush, Jai Arvind, Master Manikandan and others Music: R K Sunder Produced by: V Productions Story, screenplay and directed by: Bharathy Kannan It is voluptuous Vindhaya's film all the way. In the disguise of preaching moral values, the director narrates the film in a voyeuristic way. Actually, the film only starts in the last half hour of the film. Rest of the film centers around three teenage boys craving for girls and their wild plans of having sex. Though you have the moral lesson at the climax, like Shakeela's films in Malayalam, the camera shamelessly shows all the flesh of girls, aunties, and especially Vindhya. It is a teenage sex film laced with crime angle. Vicky (Anush), Pazhani (Jai Arvind) and Lakshmipathi (Master Manikandan) are teenagers and classmates. Their only aim is to bunk the classes and chill out eyeing for girls. They prepare to go any lengths to get 'girls'. Enters auntie Nandini (Vindya). The seductive siren conspires to kill her aging husband (Livingston) and drags the gullible boys into her game plan. When they try to murder her hubby as she asked to do so, they find someone murdered him already. Police arrest them. The rest of the movie is about finding the murderer. The film has many loopholes and weak screenplay. It is clearly shows that the filmmakers wanted to play game of 'tit'illation. Vindya looks very glamorous and seductive. Debutant youngsters Anush, Aravind, Manikandan are okay. Bharathi Kannan's direction lacks finesse and he has failed to extract performances from actors. Debutant music director R K Sunder's music is passable.
