Bollywood ace filmmaker Ram Gopla Verma’s
film production, The Factory, is making inroads in to Tamil filmdom. The company
has tied up with Radhika’s Radan Picutures. Radhika Sarath Kumar, whose
Television serials are doing good business, has big plans for film production.
She has already made a Telugu film, though it bombed at the Box office, and is
making a Tamil film in the direction of Teja. Radhika is working as co producer
for Verma Company’s first Tamil film titled JITHAN, which is to bed directed
by Vincent Selva. He has earlier directed the film PRIYAMUDAN.
Radhika sacks
ANNAMALAI director
Meanwhile, Radhika has thrown out C J Bhasker,
director of highly successful Television serial, ANNAMALAI, from the project. C
J Bhasker has directed CHITTHI for RADAAN media works, which helped the
Radhika’s production house to reap in money. The reason for his ousting is
said to be his portrayal of women in bad way in that serial. But insiders say
that Bhasker wanted to wind up the serial fast so that he can pursue his dream
of directing films, for which Radhika is against. He had been flooding with
offers from the film industry.
