Dhanush’s
woes continue
Monday, June 14, 2004
Dhanush feels that distributors have taken extreme step by not allowing the release of his film, SULLAN. He rejects distributors' fears that his other film, DREAMS, would be shelved forever. Looks like Dhanush's troubles are not yet over. Soon after the disastrous result of P. SARAVANAN, he has been engulfed with controversies. SULLAN, directed by Ramana, is almost finished.
But the distributors association has flagged off the Red card, which implies that no distributors or exhibitors should buy, or screen the film.
Dhanush's other film DREAMS, directed by his father Kasthoori Raja, is still lying incomplete. So the distributors want it to release it first than SULLAN. Dhanush says that they are committed to finish off DREAMS very soon.
However, Dhanush and the director Ramana are confident that air of uncertainty would clear soon and there would be an early release. Sindhu Tolani, who made her debut in Telugu, is playing the female lead in this film. Dhanush plays the son of a garbage truck driver.
