NEW audio hit the market

Finally, director S J Surya's much ambitious film, NEW, is getting ready for release. Its audio was released at one of the best ever audio launch functions conducted in recent times Albert theatre in
Chennai. It was a well-organised function attended by every big name in the film industry.
The film's composer A.R.Rahman, hero Vijay with his mother, Sarath Kumar,
Silambarasan, Simran and husband Deepak, Kiran, Trisha, Aishwarya, and Telguu hero Mahesh Babu have attended the function. S.J.Surya dedicated his film to his mother and Rahman’s mother as "NEW has a touching story of a mother and son".
GILLI audio released
A.M.Ratnam's film with Vijay, GILLI, will be hitting the screens soon. The film's audio was released at a function held at Little Flower Convent for the Blind in
Chennai. The chief guest was Vikram. The lead pair Vijay and Trisha, actor
Srikanth, director Dharani, music director Vidhyasagar, actor Dhamu and producer A.M.Ratnam were also attended the
function.
Just before the release of the audio Vijay, Trisha and Srikanth presented flowers to the 150 odd blind, deaf and dumb children who had assembled there. Four songs were played from
Gilli. The children were so excited by the songs that they started dancing. Vikram released the first cassette to a blind student Merlin.
VAANAM VASPPADAM audio released
Noted cinematographer P C Sriram's much disccussed digital film, VAANAM VASPPADAM's audio release function was held last week at Radio Mirchi office in
Chennai. The cassette was released by Vairamuthu and was received by the late music director Mahesh’s wife Chitra Mahesh. This was Mahesh’s last film who died of cancer.
