A film after a city’s name! No, not BOMBAY or
NEW DELHI. This time, our very own MADHURAI. Yes, Vijay’s new film has been
titled MADHURAI. The film is being produced and directed by R Madhesh of
Shanker's former associate and producer of Prasanth's CHOCLATE. It has Sonia
Agarwal and Rakshit as the female lead. Vidyasagar scores the music.
Prasanth to do remake of BHOOT
Even after disaster of JAI, father-son duo
Thiyagarajan and Prashanth have teamed up again. They are working again for the
film titled SHOCK, a remake of Hindi hit film, BHOOT by Ram Gopal Verma. Laila
is to do Urmila's role. Thiyagarajan is not just producing, but also wielding
the megaphone for this film.
Gopika flooded with offers
It is not only director Cheran who benefited from
AUTOGRAPH’s success, but the film also made wonders for Gopika, the Malyalama
heroine who made her debut in Tamil films with this film. She is now flooded
with many offers from Tamil film producers.
