Trisha in Shanker's film? 

Trisha's career is going great guns. Offers are flooding her. Apart from getting plum role in Manirathnam's next movie, she is also said to have signed Shanker's forthcoming film, which is to be produced by Oscar Ravichandran. Vikram may play the lead role. 

Kamal's appeal to the media 

Kamal Hassan on Monday clarified that he had shifted the shooting of his new film to Chennai from Theni and Dindigul districts in Tamil Nadu due to lack of "production facilities". He appealed to the media not to politicize the issue. In a press statement issued in Chennai, he said many news reports appearing in the media about the theme and tenor of his film had no truth in them and it would bring disrepute both to the papers who published it and to him self.
