Srikanth as action hero in JOOT!

After playing lover boy roles so far, Srikanth has decided to show his brawns to the audiences. He is all set to play an action-packed role in his next film, JOOT. Azhagam Perumal directs the film. Perumal is former associate of Mani Ratnam. His debut film,  DUM DUM DUM, with  Madhavan was moderate hit. Srikanth is now working hard on building up muscles. 

Meera Jasmine is the heroine. Ajaykumar of Laxmi productions produce the film. The film is now wrapping scenes at Chennai and Pondicherry and is expected to release in November 2003.

Linguswamy to direct Ajith

Linguswamy of RUN fame is back from sabbatical. According to film circles, Linguswamy will direct Ajith's next film. The film is to be produced by NIC Chakravarthy.
