BOYS remake of FAST FORWARD?

There is a talk that the much hyped film BOYS is remake of Hollywood flick, FAST FORWARD (1985). This latest film from Shanker has been generating much response from youngsters as the peppy music by A. R. Rehaman has already topping the chartbusters. The film, FAST FORWARD, is all about eight talented teenagers.

They come to New York City to compete in a national dance contest. During the course of the trials, each of them learns to cope with both success and failure. Likewise, in BOYS too five teenagers try to create sensation with their own indigenous Band. The film's release date once again advanced to August 21, 2003.


Vijay sending feelers to Shanker?

News is that Vijay, exasperated by his recent row of plans, is trying to bring his career on right track. According to some Tamil film magazines, he has been sending feelers to ace filmmaker Shanker to direct his next film. Shanker has no failures so far and is known for making commercially good films. His latest venture BOYS is to release on August 14th. Vijay currently is doing THIRUMALAI.

SP Muthuraman to come back?

It is learnt that veteran director S. P. Muthuraman is planning to direct films again. The director, known for his commercial potboilers, is to make an offbeat film. The film will be heroine-oriented movie, sources say. S. P. gave maximum hits to our superstar Rajinikanth in his heydays.
