Superstar Rajnikant Superstar Rajnikanth underwent a minor plastic surgery on Tuesday morning. He was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on Monday night to undergo some 'facial correction'. 

Sources revealed that Rajini got himself admitted to the hospital and under went some plastic surgery on his lips. The habitual smoker that he is, his lips had acquired an unhealthy white coat. The surgery was to make it look normal. 

Though there is no official word from the hero's side, a Apollo hospital's press release on Tuesday confirmed it. The surgery was successful, the press note said. Meanwhile, Rajnikanth's new film JAGGHUBHAI would go on floor in August. Rajni, who was criticised for looking sallow in BABA, is perhaps working on his looks and physique for his new film.
