Dissatisfied with lean phase at 70mm, actress Meena has turned to small screen. She has now accepted a Television serial for a whopping remuneration. The serial, which is currently at production stage, will be telecasted in a private TV channel by the summer. Of late, Meena has been receiving either 'Amman' roles or roles of a wife to the heroes in their flashbacks. 

With no great offers, she is cleverly switched to the small screen like many faded out heroines in the past did. On the personal front too, Meena is running troubled waters. Her mother's efforts to bring a 'well settled bridegroom from decent family' for her are getting doomed.
