BO report: GILLI to set new records?

Seems like Vijay has finally on the right track. After a spree of debacles, he is now on a row of hits. His GILLI, remake of Telugu super hit, OKKADU, is all set to create new records as per as collections concerned. Last weekend (Sat and Sunday) alone it had collected more than Rs One crores in Tamilnadu.

With Vikram’s ARUL failed to create a stir, GILLI has no competition from any other film and is drawing huge collections. Surya’s PERALAGAN has received good praise from all the quarters, but it is yet to pick up blockbuster. Its success will rely on family audiences. Ajith’s new film, JANA, sank without trace.
