Jyothika has stepped in Venkatesh's film, Adavari Matalaki Arthalu Verule. Producers' Shanam Naga Ashok Kumar and N V Prasad have signed on her for this film. After playing with Nagarjuna in Mass, she is now acting opposite Venkatesh for the first time. The film is to be directed by Sri Raghava (real name Selva Raghavan).

Though dates of regular shoots have not been confirmed as yet, the producers are busy finalizing the rest of the cast. The film was launched in February and at that time they had plans of introducing new heroine but they have finally zeroed in on Jyothika.

Venkatesh is now holidaying in Canada with his family. He will be returning to India after May 15th and he would only decide which film to start - Suresh Productions' film with Srinu Vaitla or Yogi, Trivikram's film for producer Giri or this Sri Raghava's film.
