Sathurangam starring Srikanth and Sonia Agarwal is in soup. The film's producer Amudha Durairaj is facing charges of breach of trust. A petition has been filed by Senthil from KK Nagar. The gist of the petition is as follows. Amudha Durairaj of Mass Movie Makers started shooting a film called Production No.5 in 2003.

The film was shelved midway, due to financial problems. This film started shooting again in the year 2004, under a new name Sathurangam. Earlier in 2002 Senthil had paid an advance of Rs.10 lakhs towards the DVD, CD, and TV copyright. Now the overseas rights of the film have been sold to an export company. Senthil is adamant that, court issues a stay order on the film. He has also demanded a sum of Rs 17 Lakhs. Presently Sathurangam is lying in Prasad Labs.
