Navya Nair along with Tamil-actor director Cheran has started a production house. The duo has named this production house as 'Lights and Shadow'. This production house has also acquired the rights of Aadum Koothu, a movie being directed by DV Chandran staring Cheran and Navya.

Sources tell us that actually the producer walked out of this film. He felt that the film was taking too much of time and it wasn't really worth the effort. Navya, Cheran along with the director and cinematographer Madhu Ambatt decided to salvage the film. The four put in money and have completed the film. Apart from this film Navya stars in Maya Kannadi with Cheran.
