By: Kavita Awasthi Ratings: **(Okey Dokey) Special Comments: This should have been Fardeen's launch film. Ram Gopal Varma brings out a fresh film from the deep dark Jungle of stale Bollywood films. A new approach and a hitherto untapped arena of scenic locales seems very alluring, but wait till you hear the story.
Siddharth Mishra Aka Sidhu (Fardeen) is in love with Anu (Urmila) and they sing songs till both of them land up for a holiday in a Jungle resort . Of course there is Anu's family as well and the father who dislikes Sidhu. The film begins when the notorious daku Durga Narayan Chaudhary captures the entire team (minus Sidhu obviosuly) because one of his gang members was arrested by Sunil Shetty, who plays the task force officer. The film keeps going on till Fardeen tries to locate Urmila and tries to find all help he can, but the hostages are released only when the gang member is released. But the villain likes Urmila, keeps her back against the wishes of his gang. So the restless Sidhu has to go to the Jungle to rescue his love. Fardeen looks good in the film and his acting is better than Prem Aggan. Urmila has given a good performance. Sunil Shetty shines in a cameo role. Sushant Singh excels in the villain part. But the most outstanding feature of the film is Vijay Arora's camera work. It looks unplanned and unnatural giving you the eerie feeling of the Jungle. Other reviews
