Director: Manu Rewal
Here's another film dealing with India - its corruption, bureaucracy and censorship all portrayed in the satirical comedy making it more funny and entertaining.
Satya Kumar (Zafar Karachiwala) returns to his roots and wants to make a documentary on Jaisalmer showcasing the true Indian culture and heritage to the western audience. The story is set in Delhi and revolves around Satya who struggles as a young, idealistic, US returned filmmaker.

Konkana Sensharma plays the role of Satya's girlfriend Radha Joshi. Radha is an ambitious fashion designer selected for a top design school in London and doesn't want him to return to India. Satya finds solace in Shanthi (the double role played by Konkana), a NGO worker who is also her fashion schoolmate. He is attracted to Shanti in Jaisalmer while shooting for the film and then drifts away from Radha.
During the making of the film, Satya comes across corrupt government officials. And also faces dishonesty at his personal front driving him to think whether to be idealistic or not.
Konkona Sen Sharma (in a double role) is outstanding in her performance while Zafar proves to be a good actor.
Gaurav Kapur, Channel [V] VJ who plays Satya's friend is admirable considering that this is his debut film.
The film is very realistic as anybody who has gone through similar problems, as the protagonist will be able to relate to the story. Though the director tries to give the satire a comic touch, there is not enough humorous edge to make it amusing enough.
However one must admit, that the film brings in a fresh look as compared to the other commercial cinema of the recent times.
