Aamir Khan always made news. He first made his appearance as a Child Artiste in Yaadon Ki Baraat. His debut as a hero was in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. He became famous as a chocolate hero. He had a huge fan club following him for his cute looks. With time Aamir Khan grew into a fine and mature actor.

Today Aamir Khan is a highly paid actor and brand ambassador for a variety of products. Aamir Hussain Khan, son of Tahir and Zeenat Hussain has a younger brother Faisal, apart from two sisters. Faisal is an actor, but less acclaimed in comparison to older brother Aamir.

He has given good performances in Raja Hindustani, Sarfarosh, Ghulam, Dil Chahta Hai and Lagaan. Lagaan was selected under Best Foreign Film category for Oscar Nomination 2002. He has won awards like, Best Actor award 1996 for Raja Hindustani, Best Actor award 1999 for Sarfarosh and Best Actor award 2002 for Lagaan. His role as Akash in Dil Chahta Hai was memorable. Aamir displays a natural flair for comedy. Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Andaz Apna Apna, Ishq and Dil Chahta Hai testify it.

There is more of Aamir Khan to come. Looks like he dons a new look with every movie. Dil Chahta Hai saw him with a different hairdo and beard (if you can call that, one). In Lagaan he had the look of a dusty villager and now in 1857: The Rising, he has a completely different look.
