After enjoying the huge box office success with Tere Naam last year, Satish Kaushik once again fastens his belt to direct a love drama, Vaada. This time he teams up with Vashu Bhagnani who earlier had a number of recent flops to his name. But one thing is for sure that the team of Vashu Bhagnani and Satish Kaushik had also given a box office hit, Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai some years back. High hopes jump in cinegoer's mind for their upcoming venture, Vaada.
The newly married couple, Rahul (Arjun Rampal) and Puja (Amisha Patel), lives life happily. But one terrible accident shakes them badly when Rahul loses his eyesight. Being abroad on a business trip, Rahul meets his friend Karan (Zayed Khan) who is a dynamic businessman. Rahul gets impressed with Karan's stylish and innovative way of doing business and asks him to join hands with him. In order to pursue with the matter, both return to India. Puja is shocked when she sees her husband with her old friend "Karan".
Rahul is much possessive for Puja whereas Karan is obsessive for her. Rahul can sense that Karan too loves her wife dearly and madly. Both want Puja and now start playing the cat and mouse game to have her.
Who will win or will both lose her? To know the answer, get glued to the waiting seats until the movie comes out in theaters.
The film will be showcased in cinema halls on December 22, 2004.
