She acted as Maggie with Salman Khan in LOVE. Recently she has been in some Hindi movies namely Darna Mana Hai, Dhoop and Ab Tak Chappan.
A Sahara Manoranjan presentation, Phir Milenge is produced by Percept Picture Company. The flick revolves around three main characters, Rohit (Salman Khan), Tamanna (Shilpa Shetty) and Tarun (Abhishek Bachchan).
A fun-loving adventurous, Rohit is a musician in an art school. His presence and music always spells magic at any party he attends. Apart from these qualities, there is another side to this guy. He is a complex person and does not show his feelings to anybody.
On the other hand, brilliant-creative and self-made "Tamanna" is lively and supportive. She works for an
advertising agency and is the center of attraction of her boss. After losing her parents at young age, she has perfectly handled her home activities, her career and her younger sister, "Tanya".
Tarun Anand, a lawyer by profession, is charming-debonair and suave. He is a guy who likes to fight with challenges in life.
The story moves further when both Tamanna and Rohit meet at a school reunion and this meeting takes the two to the paradise of love. A twist in the tale comes when Tamanna gets caught in a situation where she is surrounded by a lot of questions. And Rohit is the only person who can save her from all these difficulties. But he is nowhere to be seen. She makes efforts to locate Rohit but all goes waste. This situation becomes more serious and she loses her job.
Tamanna then decides to fight with this injustice that has played havoc with her life. Here enters Tarun into the picture. He brings her positive hopes. The entire situation raises some questions. "Will Tamanna be able to pass a normal life again? Will Rohit return? Will Tamanna forgive him?
The trio of Shankar-Ehsan-Loy has scored music together with Padosan Joshi who has penned lyrics for the film.
The movie is slated for July 2004 release.
