Renowned music video director Ken Ghosh (who made his directorial debut with the tender romantic movie, Ishq Vishq) returns with his second directorial venture, Fida that stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in the leading roles. Like his earlier movie Ishq Vishq, Ken Ghosh carries the love saga in Fida. This upcoming enterprise holds more attraction for the cinegoers as it has a thrilling element attached to it. Since Shahid-Kareena pair has been making news for their real life love affair for quite some time now, Ghosh's Fida features them for the very first time on screen. After launching Shahid in spongy love story, Ishq Vishq, Ghosh awards him an utterly different character to play this time around. The same applies for the other two leading protagonists Fardeen Khan and Kareena Kapoor who will enthrall their fans with their unique performances. After Khushi and recently released DEV both are going to give their appearances in this latest fare.

Jai (Shahid Kapoor) dreams of a girl who looks perfect from all angles. His ideal steps into his life one day when he meets Neha (Kareena Kapoor). Neha too loses her heart to Jai because he loves her madly and is willing to do anything for her. The third character is Vikram (Fardeen Khan) who is a rich businessman and has his own passionate love story. A twist in the tale emerges when an online heist worth Rs. 55 million happens. This online robbery wipes out the business accounts of two major companies run by an underworld Don. There is no clue at all to reach the culprit. Now the Don is all set to do anything to get his money back.

 This flick has been promoted hugely on all satellite channels and the catch-line "Not all love stories have the perfect ending", does the rest to generate the curiosity for the film in moviegoers' hearts.

The team behind the cinema is same as Ishq Vishq. A Ramesh Taurani and Kumar Taurani production, Fida has soothing piece of music scored by Anu Malik along with Sameer who is the lyricist for the film.

The film is slated for August 20 release.
