The team of last year's blockbuster, Tere Naam, once again returns with the upcoming sentimental-romantic flick, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa. Only the director Atul Agnihotri, actress Preity Zinta and musician A R Rehman are new at this juncture, the rest of the team, from producers (Mukesh Talreja and Sunil Manchanda), artists (Salman Khan and Bhoomika Chawla) to musician (Himesh Reshammiya), are the same. Actor turned director Atul Agnihotri makes his directorial debut with this film.

The subject revolves around the life of the leading protagonist who has his unforgettable past and happy future. Now he is to choose one between the two to live his life.

Rishabh (Salman Khan) is a partner in a media company. He dearly loves a girl called Pari (Preity Zinta) who is a doctor by profession. They see dreams of a happy future but fate has something else for them in store. Pari faces a fatal accident leaving Rishabh all alone in the world. Devastated and sad, he cannot bear this loss and subsequently losses all charms in life. But one thing, which ties him with life, is Pari's wish to build a charitable hospital for the poor.

 Dhani (Bhoomika Chawla) takes new unexpected turns for Rishabh when she meets him. She is the girl who better knows how to be with the joys that life awards a man. Soon they both are drawn to each other. Rishabh intensively gets the feeling that Dhani will bring him the happiness back eliminating his sadness altogether. For Dhani, it is the first experience to fall in love with someone. Enthusiastic with her love life, she wants to enjoy the essence of love to the fullest. But at this stage, love reminds of Pari and is laced with loneliness and pain. He is totally caught in Pari's memories. Forgetting her seems impossible to him. He reaches out to Dhani to unzip this shocking reality and is shattered once again. Now he has two paths in front of him - one leads him to the same loneliness, depression and pain (being with the memories of Pari) and the other goes to Dhani (a happy future).

The movie also features the likes of Helen, Rati Agnihotri, Aasif Sheikh and Renuka Shahne. Riya Sen gives her special appearance also. Although the main musician is Himesh Reshammiya, A R Rehman too scores the music for three tracks for this album whilst Sameer manages the writing desk.

The film will hit the theaters on September 10.
