Irfan Khan, who has become hot after delivering a breath-ceasing performance in recently released, Rog, makes appearance for the first time with veteran gorgeous actress of Hindi cinema Juhi Chawla in Epitome Entertainment Pvt. Ltd's production, 7 ½ Phere. The man Ishaan Trivedi, who has penned dialogues for the film Ghulam and enticed with his captivating scripts of the movies Stop and Uphar, makes his directorial debut with this venture of Nimit Modawal's presentation.

The flick eyes on the humorous aspects of real-life situations in India. The whole saga is based around a middle-class wedding that is actually being covered live on a television channel called '786 Plus'. The millions of viewers watch the funny and emotional moments associated with this marriage.

Juhi Chawla, the pivotal lady of this fare, enacts the character of a director of the reality show for the television channel. Alongside her, talented actor Irfan Khan spells magic with his acting prowess. Irfan is playing a comic role for the first time on big screen. Hopes soar sky high that this too would be fleshed out brilliantly by the brilliant actor. The conflicts and resolutions between Juhi and Irfan will surely keep the audience entertained.

Manoj Pahwa, Anang Desai, Vallabh Vyas and Neena Kulkarni share the screen as supporting cast. Shantanu Moitra has scored the tunes.

7 ½ Phere is scheduled to hit the screens some time in April/May 2005.
