Cast: Lucky Ali and Meera
Music: M. M. Kareem
Lyrics: Sameer
The Pak sexpot Meera, who has been churning out news in India and Pakistan since the day she signed Mahesh Bhatt's Nazar, returns with her yet another offering, Kasak - The Other Side of a Relationship. The catch line can undoubtedly be called the lock, stock and barrel of the story since it utterly lets the movie slip. Produced and directed by Rajiv Babbar under the banner of Archana Media Pvt Ltd., this carnival features the coveted spongy voice singer Lucky Ali after Sur and a fresh sex bombshell in Hindi cinema Meera (who is once again geared up to inveigle the Indian audiences with her imposing acting and hot performances like the earlier Nazar) in the central roles.
A passionate musical extravaganza, Kasak is based on human relationships. This love story puts on view every side of love, hatred and revenge, which the cinegoers might not have witnessed before in any other movie. Based on a love relationship, the film leaves a feeling of pleasant pain in heart.
The flick natters about Amar (Lucky Ali) and Anjali (Meera). Amar is a down to earth person and firmly believes that love can only happen if you capitulate yourself completely to the one you love dearly. Anjali is an ambitious high flying girl, who wants to touch the heights in life. Ultimately their alleyways meet. So do they both fall in love, how and in what circumstances? They share a relationship where it seems as if they meet but never meet. But the question that arises is whether the relationship is truly like this?
Kasak prettily gives a picture of every aspect of life - sacrifice, love, purity, innocence, simplicity, selfishness and jealousy.
The talented musician M. M. Kareem amasses the composition on the lyrics of the veteran Sameer whereas the likes of Jagjit Singh, Anuradha Paudwal, M. M. Kareem, Lucky Ali, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Madhushree and Gayatri Iyer render the songs.
