Director Jai Prakash, Manisha Koirala and Aryan Vaid re-fasten their belts to emerge in their upcoming outing, Chaahat - Ek Nasha after the flick Market. The film has already been enticing due to the characters of pop-stars, which have been created around the internationally renowned singing queens, Madonna and Britney Spears. Manisha Koirala and Preeti Jhangiani have been signed to perform them. Opposite them, Ex-Mr. India, model turned actor Aryan Vaid will make appearance.

The movie talks of Mallika Arora (Manisha Koirala) who is a pop singer and loves Rahul (Aryan Vaid) crazily. Rahul runs a music company RK Music. He too is in love with Mallika but at the time he proposes her for marriage, she refuses him very politely saying that she does believe in western lifestyle of going through without wedlock.

A twist in the tale comes when Mallika's downfall happens. Rahul comes across a new aspirant singer-dancer, Rashmi Jaitly whom he launches in his new video. Luck helps her and her debut music video hits the jackpot making her star overnight. In the process, Rahul starts loving her and she too responds him with her heart. When Mallika wakes up with the reality, she is utterly shattered. She gets a whopping emotional shock and while being heavily drunk, she orders her personal bodyguard, Jaidev (Sharat Kapoor) to kill Rahul. The following morning when the intoxication finishes off, she realizes that she has done a big mistake. She instantly calls up Jaidev in order to stop him from killing his love. But he has left to finish Rahul by now. Jaidev is also a lover of Mallika but this love is one-sided only. Now Mallika wants to save Rahul at any cost...

Questions twist in mind...will she be able to save Rahul or Jaidev will eliminate him? For the answers, do wait looking at the screen, which will show the upshot.

Anand Raj Anand has decorated the tunes for which Praveen Bhardwaj has penned the lyrics.

No schedule for release has been finalised yet but the hopes tell, the flick will soon hit the theaters.
