Recently, Vivek Oberoi made the day of 7 young girls from Andaman and Nicobar which was greatly afftected by the Tsunami. These young girls tied rakhis to Vivek on the sets of his film Home Delivery. Multiple Encounters, the NGO was responsible for this special ceremony. This NGO, working for the tsunami affected people contacted Vivek through the Yashodhara Foundation. When Vivek found out that these girls wanted to tie him rakhis, he agreed immediately and the girls were flown down especially for the sacred ritual.

According to Vivek, it was his best rakhi. He was really touched and did not want to speak about since it was very personal.
