The nation witnessed a shocking expose carried out by India TV on Sunday Morning, where actor Shakti Kapoor was videotaped soliciting sexual favours from an aspiring actress in return for helping her get the role. The aspiring actress was infact an undercover reporter. In the videotape Shakti Kapoor has slandered top line actresses of having done sexual favours for directors to reach dizzy heights of success.

Shakti Kapoor although admitting that he met the woman in a hotel room a few months ago said that it was the girl who had been calling him up for over last six months professing her love for him. He also denied making any sexual overtures and said that the tapes have been doctored. He has accused the channel of framing and blackmailing him and is also considering a legal suit against them.
