Preity Zinta dismisses any apprehension about her safety
Saying that she was a "strong Rajput girl", popular Bollywood actress Preity Zinta today dismissed apprehensions about her safety following the recovery of her purported E-Mail address from the possessions of one of the five terrorists killed in Parliament House.
Speaking from Sydney, she denied that the E-Mail address pre_zai@hotmail.com recovered from the terrorist belonged to her and told Star News that she did not think she needed security.
"I don't think so. The savior is mightier than the attacker," Zinta remarked when asked whether she required security.
Asked whether she was scared, Zinta said, "No, why should I be so? I am a strong Rajput girl."
To a question whether she knew about the recovery of her E-Mail address from one of the killed terrorists, she said that her mother told her about it on phone. "It is very
shocking," the film star said.
Stating that she was "surprised", Zinta denied that she had received a threat from anybody.
Zinta said that she got fan mails from all over the world including Pakistan but she never got anything like that.
A senior Police official said that the veracity of the address was being examined. "Anybody can create E-Mail address in any name. This does not mean that it belongs to that person," the official said.
