Paresh Rawal Here's some bad news on Paresh Rawal's character in Anurag Kashyap's film No Smoking starring John Abraham and Ayesha Takia. Bad as in his characterization that seems to be real bad!

According to Anurag, Paresh is the bad guy of the film and if believing in Anurag's talents as a script-writer, he is bound to be one bad-ass. So what do you think will be unique in this character?

Paresh's name in the movie is going to be 'Shri Shri Prakash Guru Ghantal Baba Bangali Sealdah Wale'. Phew!!! With such an interesting name one wonders what his character is going to be like?

However, Anurag claims that Paresh won't be in the typical character that he is doing off late. He will be a non-Kathiawadi and will not be funny either. His role will be that of a sinister north Indian this time, probably the first time he is doing so after his role of Vishnu Pandey in Dacait. (Anurag, like almost everyone else, forgot or perhaps preferred to overlook his role of the north Indian bad guy in Aanch in 2003.)

A talented actor no doubt, however Paresh started repeating himself once he found his forte in comedy post Hera Pheri. One will have to wait and watch whether Paresh succeeds in making you hate him.
