Why is KKKG so important to Amitabh, Shahrukh and Hrithik

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham , is one of the most eagerly awaited venture of 2001, is scheduled to release on Id i.e. December 14. The film is one of the costliest films ever made ever in the history of Indian cinema. Still from K3G

The film is an acid test for almost the entire cast, including its director Karan Johar. The entire cast which comprises Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor are depending on this film.

Karan Johar's last project, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai  was a runaway hit. KKKG is his second venture, so the expectations are sky high.

Amitabh Bachchan, super star of the Millennium. There was a time when everyone started feeling that Big B has lost his charm and loosing out his popularity. But Big B bounced back with the phenomenon success of TV programme KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI and later on his Mohabbatein  also became hit. However, Ek Rishtaa  along with Akshay Kumar could not do much on the Box-Office. Even otherwise, his last venture, his home-production, Aks , failed miserably.

Jaya Bachchan made a comeback with Khalid Mohammad's Karisma-Hrithik starrer Fiza , though the film didn't do well, her performance was appreciated. Now all eyes are on this film in which she has been paired with husband, Amitabh Bachchan.

Shah Rukh Khan, the current superstar is going through probably the lowest phase of his career. His last hit was Mohabbatein  along with Mr. Bachchan. This year, the King Khan had two releases One 2 Ka 4  and Asoka . One 2 Ka 4  failed very badly and on the other hand his home-production, Asoka , is also not doing so well. Though his performance was definitely something to watch for in all his films.

Kajol has been the part of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai , two biggest hits of Indian cinema It was due to the success of these two films and Karan Arjun  that people think that Shah Rukh-Kajol jodi is JODI NO. 1. The talented actress got married to actor Ajay Devgan recently and decided to take on less projects right at the peak of her career! After her marriage, she was seen in couple of the films, but these films failed miserably. Let's see, whether the audience accepts her in this film or not?

Hrithik Roshan, the current heart-throb took the nation by storm in his debut, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai . However, he could not repeat the same charisma or magic with his next releases i.e. Fiza, Mission Kashmir  and Yaadein . So, this film is a test of sorts for Roshan Jr.

Lastly, Kareena Kapoor, people in the industry feel that Kareena has all the potential to become NO. 1. Till date, she has had five releases, but only one film among these did well at the Box-Office i.e. Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai . Her debut film, Refugee  failed as did her recent releases Ajnabee, Yaadein  and Asoka  also could not do well. Now, needless to add that Kareena must be hoping to bounce back with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham .

So folks let's wish that these talented 7 to bounce back with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham .
