Subhash Ghai's Khal-Nayak, starring Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff, has been voted as the third best film amongst the top ten films ever made in the British Film Institute Sight & Sound Poll by Joel David, a film critic from the University of Phillipines.

The poll has been the largest and received contributions from 145 film critics, writers and academicians and 108 film directors.
