Himesh Reshammiya appeared on Sahara One's entertainment channel 'FILMY' on the popular film show 'Aaj Ki Filmy Khabar' hosted by the film critic Mayank Shekhar. The singer is under controversies these days. When asked if he has an attitude problem, as it is a talk of the industry, he replied, "I don't have an attitude problem, people have spread this wrong news". He told that he was not arrogant and to enforce this point he said that on some occasions if he really wanted to do a film, he had even approached the producers and asked them to consider him.
Defending all allegations, he took this opportunity to let the people know the real story. Himesh was asked, why he lost his temper at the talent show recently. In response, Himesh defended himself by saying that at the talent show, he had only expressed his point of view about how the voting should be done and how he felt about one singer. He added that it was quite evident on that show itself that he had never disregarded the opinion of other senior music directors, and had pushed forth his point only after having considered theirs. The award-winning young music composer also revealed his sensitive and humble side by stating that he should not be compared to the Bollywood stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar.
On Mayank's question to him that if he wanted to become a film hero, Himesh said that he is a great fan of both the legends so any comparison itself will be a controversy, which he would rather avoid. Earlier in the interview, he was asked by Mayank, as to why he is always criticized in public, to which Himesh defended himself by saying that the Indian public had not even left Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan out of their gossip! When it comes to his success, Himesh was confident that his music said it all and added that he did not care about gossip as long as he has the undaunted support of his fans. Perhaps his new found fame and success as a singer has earned music director Himesh Reshammiya several enemies in the industry.
Himesh reiterated that he should not be compared with Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan & confessed that he was afraid of such statements being twisted by the media, because of which he was reluctant to come on such shows. On the question that whether he has copied Anu Malik's tunes, he expressed and cleared the doubts saying he respects him hugely and denied that he has not copied any tunes of any music director in his career. He added that he has been very cautious about ethics throughout his career and always made sure that he does not intrude into anyone's territory despite the several offers that have come his way.
Himesh said that he was very happy to have come on the show and to be able to use it as a platform to clear all the rumors that have been spread about his music.
