The ongoing film festival, under Rajasthan Day celebrations, is getting an overwhelming response with movie lovers queuing up to theatres to watch their favorite flicks, which are offered free of cost. The city's Golcha and Entertainment Paradise cinemas where the department of tourism is providing free tickets of various films on first come first serve basis are packed to full capacity.

According to tourism department sources, these shows are being screened at 9 am every morning. Raj Bansal, a film distributor, told that jaipur has dearth of such festivals and with variety of multiplexes around, such festivals should be organized on regular basis. During the Rajasthan Day festival, films like coloured version of K. Asif's Mughal- e- Azam, Amitabh Bachchan's Khakhi and Baghbaan, Aamir khan's Lagaan and Dil. Other popular movies like Parineeta, Mr. India, Mann, and Rang de basanti are to be screened during the 4- day film festival.
