B.O. Update: James Bond takes on Hindi films

Casino Royale Last week's Vivah and Apna Sapna Money Money opened to a heartening response, but the opening numbers of the three new Hindi releases, Rehguzar, Janani and Unns, were dull on Friday. Meanwhile, the new James Bond film, Casino Royale, has opened to a good response [75%-80%] in India, simultaneously with its U.S. release.

Casino Royale has been well received by reputed international critics too, with reviewers unanimously hailing it as the best Bond film. The Atlanta Journal [rating: A-], Chicago Tribune [A-], Entertainment Weekly [A], Hollywood Reporter [B], Rolling Stone [A-] and Seattle Post [A-] have given glowing reviews to the film.
