Once a hit always a hit. Believe it or not but the hit duo of Salim-Javed which split after giving such blockbusters as SEETA AUR GEETA, ANDAZ, SHOLAY, DEEWAR, TRISHUL and MR. INDIA to name a few, has come together again.

It so happened that Amitabh Bachchan asked Javed Akhtar to pen his climax speech in the recently released BAGHBAN. Although Javed is not the film's writer (It is scripted by Dr. Achala Nagar, Satish Bhatnagar, Ram Govind and Shafiq Ansari and the story is by B.R. Chopra), he obliged and penned a well-worded speech for Amitabh.

Just before the superstar's philosophical sermon in the film, Salman Khan makes a short but impassioned speech. Now that speech is the handiwork of the actor's father and Javed Akhtar's ex-partner Salim Khan. Javed also admitted that Bachchan and Ravi had asked him to help them with the superstars climax speech, and so without knowing about the other's contribution, the ex-partners worked on the same film. The world would not have known this because neither Salim nor Javed has been given credit for their respective pieces of work in BAGHBAN.
