Ashok Kumar Foundation to organize charity concert

The Ashok Kumar Foundation, a trust formed in the memory of the late Ashok Kumar by his family, is organizing a charity concert, 'Geeton Bhari Shaam - Dadamoni Ke Naam', on June 3 at N.C.P.A., Mumbai. At the event, Dadamoni's songs will be performed on stage by Usha Uthup. The concert will take a peep into the era of Ashok Kumar.
The Foundation has been involved in several charitable projects, including a homeopathic clinic where free treatment is provided to under-privileged children, All Saint's Home for the aged, The Asiatika Festival - a public art project towards protection of public monuments and providing support to the recent Tsunami victims including 250 orphaned children in Tamil Nadu through project Saathi.
