Aseem Merchant in THE GUEST

Model-turned-actor Aseem Merchant has signed an English film titled, THE GUEST. Directed by Angus Caffry and produced by London-based Sevy Ali, THE GUEST will be made at a budget of six million dollars. Scripted by Caffry, Ali and Nalini, the film is a love story. Merchant looks forward to working on the film as it shows his scope as an actor. He plays a poor, middle-class guy from India who migrates to London for work. While he’s there, he gets married to a British girl despite being already married in India. The film revolves around his emotional dilemma as he is caught between his commitment to his Indian wife and his love for the British one.
