Ameesha Patel will star opposite box-office favourite Akshay Kumar in T-series' forthcoming venture. The untitled film, to be directed by Priyadarshan, will also see Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan playing important roles.

Ameesha hasn't had any big hit lately and is looking forward to this project.

"I have always held Priyadarshan in the highest esteem. I was looking forward to working with him. And this exciting project is a realisation of my wish-list," said Ameesha.

Ameesha, who has been very selective in choosing roles, has reportedly signed another big banner film and is expected to make an announcement soon.
