Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is known for coming out with blockbusters during the Diwali-Eid festival period. In 2004, he took on Shah Rukh Khan's "Veer-Zaara" with "Aitraaz" and continued the trend last year by beating Salman Khan's "Kyon Ki" with "Garam Masala".

This year, it's a clash between Shah Rukh's "Don" and Akshay's "Jaan-e-Mann". Sajid Nadiadwala, the producer of the Akshay-starrer, is confident about the film and its prospects.

Trade pundits have already declared it a winner with the record-breaking distribution deals and the high decibel buzz about the film.

Looks like Akshay might be on a hat-trick this year.
