Still from Koi Aap SaEnjoying whopping success with the television industry making manifestation on the whole lot of channels across the country and after venturing into the filmdom with the movies Kucch To Hai, Krishna Cottage and last year's mega hit fun-filled entertainer Kya Kool Hai Hum, Ekta Kapoor (the youngest entrepreneur of the entertainment world) is once again geared up to present her latest offering Koi Aap Sa - a romance filled drama based around campus life. Starring Aftab Shivdasani, Natasha (Balaji Telefilms's all time favourite) and Dipannita Sharma (the anchor on Zoom TV' show 'Har Dil Jo Love Karega' who earlier worked in movies namely 16 December, Asambhav and My Brother Nikhil), Koi Aap Sa launches the newcomer Partho Mitra to direct this enterprise. The victorious combo of lyricist Sameer and composer Himesh Reshammiya handles the music bank whereas the music biggie T-Series releases the soundtrack swathed with 10 songs in total.

Track 01: Seene Mein Dil (Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik)

The winning duo of lyricist Sameer and musician Himesh Reshammiya once again is outfitted to soothe the ears with spongy melodies as they have been very much successful over the years giving melodious songs to hear. 'Seene Mein Dil' begins their journey with this album of Balaji Telefilms' latest offering Koi Aap Sa having the virtuosos Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik to warble the lines, which they deliver with gusto and allure your souls enormously. This love song shoves the sweet feelings inside you to the heights of pleasures. Sameer at the writing desk and Himesh on orchestra doll up comfortingly saccharine music to stay with. This is an absolute pleasant opening to the soundtrack.

Track Score: 8.5/10

Track 02: Seene Mein Dil (Alka Yagnik)

The solo version sung by Alka is a willowy treat too to listen.

Track Score: 8/10

Track 03: Aadat Ho Chuki Hai (Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan)

This number straightly takes you back to Ekta Kapoor's last romantic comedy Kya Kool Hai Hum......but why? The answer is that it is utterly based on the track 'Chaska' from Kya Kool Hain Hum. Sunidhi Chauhan adds much spice to the song trilling her husky voice so brilliantly that you begin to feel arousing and here comes the luminosity of the vocalist. Shaan appears as an ample support. The lyrics and music both entice the listener. Although it conveys the same theme as 'Chaska' nonetheless you like to be with it. Undoubtedly it will make mark like Balaji's earlier 'Chaska'. Let's wait the hot video of the track...hope it will be picturised well basing on the theme.

Track Score: 7.5/10

Track 04: Aadat Ho Chuki Hai - Remix Version

You are now offered to stumble upon the remix version, which is a waste of time from tip to toe since the remix arranged by DJ Akbar Sami is totally mundane. Skip it instantly.

Track Score: 1/10

Track 05: Tere Dil Ka Rishta (Sonu Nigam)

Sonu Nigam is roped in to enliven the mood with a touching song, 'Tere Dil Ka Rishta'. Sonu livens up the atmosphere with his usual ease of singing and catchy style. Sameer pens in captivating lyrics and Himesh Reshammiya tarts up the tunes superbly. A mellifluous track to hum it around.

Track Score: 8/10

Track 06: Bandh Mere Pairon Mein (Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan)

The duo of Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan appears with 'Bandh Mere Pairon Mein' and wins the hearts with enthralling singing. Jayesh Gandhi's background support looks stunning as well. Since the pair of Sameer and Reshammiya is known for churning out songs with 'Kangan, Chori, Chunariya, etc' (and these numbers have always been applauded hugely by the critics and the hoi polloi listeners alike), this one too treads with these footsteps and glides on you swiftly. Yes, you must go to press repeat button.

Track Score: 8.5/10

Track 07: Bandh Mere Pairon Mein - Remix Version

The remix version is just about okay like the usual manufactured remixes on the film albums. It doesn't have any potential to raise your spirits.

Still from Koi Aap SaTrack Score: 1/10

Track 08: Koi Aap Sa (Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik)

The title track comes very late on the soundtrack. Koi Aap Sa is rendered by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik. Both smarten up the song beautifully. Decently scribbled down lyrics and creatively scored music appeal the most.

Track Score: 8/10

Track 09: Kabhi Na Sukoon Aaya (Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik)

A pleasant number, 'Kabhi Na Sukoon Aaya' brings the veterans Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik to do the honours. Both of these prodigies allure you in full. Sameer with the pen and Himesh with the abode of composition stick out the most.

Track Score: 8.5/10

Track 10: Kabhi Na Sukoon Aaya - Sad Version

Sad songs normally hit the souls...this one, though can be heard completely, but fails to register apt marks on the listener.

Track Score: 3.5/10

Soundtrack Upshot:

Ekta Kapoor, who is the queen of small screen making presence on almost all the channels of the country producing a number of much-liked soaps, has now learnt the art of making a hit film with her last release Kya Kool Hain Hum. With Koi Aap Sa, expectations are high. Let's wait what happens with the audiences upon release but as far as the music is concerned, she has done it with the excellent efforts of Himesh Reshammiya and Sameer. On the music stands, the sale graph would be profitable.

Final Score:  7.5/10
