The Subash Ghai discovery, Mahima Choudhury started her career as a model. This year has been a year of low profile for Mahima. She has been in news for wrong reasons, with the Tennis star Leander Paes. But mistakes can be rectified and Mahima is now serious to take her career in the right direction. Later half of year 2003 will witness a couple of her films. They are Shashank Ghosh's WAISA BHI HOTA HAI, Raman Kumar's SARHAD PAR (Sanjay Dutt), Partho Ghosh's next and an untitled flick with Ajay Devgan. Numero uno position interests her no more, but henceforth she would concentrate on roles, which offer more meat and satisfies her as an actress.
