"But things aren't as bad as they present themselves" she insists. "I have been appreciated in Parineeta and producers still flock to my door to sign me up but it is me who is keeping caution. I have no time left for bad films. I agree I did make some bad choices but you don't get to debut in a Black, do you?" she asks cryptically.

And her love life? Not long ago, we had seen the 'oh-so-in-love' expression written large on that vulnerable face. "Bunty is history" she declares sternly. But what is it that went wrong? "Bunty and I were seeing each other and suddenly the media broke a story of having spotted him with Neha. That disturbed me somewhere and I immediately got in touch with him. All along, he kept denying it. On a second occasion, I caught him underhand again. More than anger, hurt is what I experienced" she says with utmost honesty.

The least what he could have done is admit to his relationship and return some dignity and respect to our liaison. When that didn't happen, I let go of him. I am a person who values honesty a great deal and Bunty cheated on me" she tells us.

Now how does she deal with it when they cross paths? "Well, I can't fake to be nice to Neha but I won't be nasty either, that isn't me. As for Bunty, he no longer exists for me," she says dryly.
