2001 was a year of elopement and love marriages. 2002 is not. In 2002 Marriages are announced properly. Engagement ceremonies are arranged in the traditional way. The third marriage to be announced this year is that of Actress Poornima Mohan. The other two were that of Suchitra and Divya Unni.

Poornima does not give a chance for a scoop even. She calls media houses and requests not to make a big copy out of it. She has her reasons also. Number one: the engagement that is going to take place is a simple one. It will be strictly a family affair.

Indrajith first appeared in a television film Annie and walked away with an award for that role. He accepted the villain role in Vinayan film because it had ample scope for a fine actor.
